This vision of a future summer just popped into my head and then out of my hand.

Exit Art asked my to do some drawings of their exhibition Love/War/Sex that will appear in their end of the year catalog. Here’s a couple of them:

I just finished up the type on KATMAN and really dug the process. In an act of typical frugality I laid my paper over multiple pages to save paper and ended up liking the inadvertent compositions created. Here’s one and then a sample of it placed.




I keep seeing/hearing mogul Sumner Redstone’s name in relation to the writer’s strike. Then I remembered I had a drawing of him from when I was in the habit of drawing happy rich guys from the NYTimes Business page. Here are a few, led by Mr. Redstone.
Most mornings, before I start in on Katman pages, I do a little drawing to loosen up. Here’s a recent one.
